PURPOSE/FUNCTION.
To serve as the frontlines of our company. Process all incoming customer and pet related circumstances.
Functioning Conditions/Environment: Be person and tolerant of loud atmospheres (barking), moisture, dog hair, odor and waste. Daily usage of safety garments and tools. Bodily effort is needed to lift/carry pets and devices of FIFTY pounds. or much more with help. Subjected to potentially ill and dangerous pets. Use of safety devices at times. May stand for extended periods of time.
CRUCIAL FUNCTIONS:.
-Shows pleasant and well-mannered fashion towards consumers, co-workers and volunteers on an everyday and recurring basis.
-Provides accurate information in a succinct and clear fashion based on CCSPCA policies on a daily, ongoing and as needed basis.
-Greets and routes patrons, responses inquiries and answers phones relating to the surrendering of a pet or kipping down a Stray in conformity with CCSPCA plans on a day-to-day, on-going and as required basis.
-Gives callers and patrons with extra sources and choices offered using a compassionate and non-judgmental approach in an initiative to minimize the amount of animals being given up by proprietors.
-Refines check, cash and credit rating card payments and/or contributions.
-Refines the intake of a pet on an everyday and as needed basis by completing all the required pet documentation at the time of intake, according to CCSPCA plans on a daily, continuous, and as required basis.
-Goes into all intake information into the shelter administration device based on CCSPCA policies on a daily, recurring, and as needed basis.
-Educates clients concerning liable animal ownership and treatment according to CCSPCA plans on an everyday, on-going, and as needed basis.
-Handles and places pets of different personalities and health conditions in short-lived receiving location for analysis.
-Keeps neatness and tidiness in areas bordering the Front Workdesk location on a day-to-day and as required basis.
-Preserves current on upgraded promotions, shelter solutions, shelter programs and adoption efforts.
-Motivates solicitations from customers in accordance to CCSPCA plans on an everyday and as needed basis.
-Abides by CCSPCA's condition management and safety and security preventative measures on an ongoing basis.
-Vaccinate incoming animals.
-Take photos of inbound animals and posting it on our Shelter Management system.
Certification Needs: Secondary school diploma or matching. High comfort degree with computer systems specifically a functioning understanding of Microsoft items. Should be able to connect with public in a professional and favorable
fashion. Capacity to keep confidentiality. Capability to manage nerve-racking scenarios and excellent issue solving/interpersonal capabilities. Ability to function en masse with a diverse group of individuals. Have to communicate plainly and efficiently in English. Should be able to take care of hostile pets.
Minimum Requirements: At the very least 6 months prior customer solution experience, addressing phones and money managing experience. Need to preserve a courteous and expert perspective in any way times. Previous pet hygiene abilities. Office equipment encounter such as: calculator, bank card equipments, computer system, and printers.
Able to deal with regular inoculations. General expertise of all CCSPCA departments and their particular features. Approximately date tetanus chance document called for.
